| That's Ai, my character for an Exalted campaign. Her story so far: This female Night caste Solar is only 17 years of age and about 173 cm of height. Her birthplace is Greyfalls, an imperial port in the East, mainly existing for trade with the River Provinces. She tried and kept her Exaltation unknown to everyone who would know her for what she was. She is quite oblivious to her status as a Solar, the First Age and other mythical lore. Ai (which was her first name,meaning "love" in Japanese, given by her parents, and which she keeps out of nostalgy, whereas "karasu", Japanese for "crow, raven", is a nickname of her own choice) believed herself to be just an especially gifted human, never associating her exaltation with the grizly myths of cursed Anathemas, until what would be her circle found her and educated her on the matters of being a Solar. Still, she refuses to believe the truth about being one of the Anathema relentlessly hunted by the Wyld Hunt and explains it all as some major misundestanding. She usually wears black clothes and leather as shown in the picture. Her distinguishing mark can be concidered a fine fighting chain which she almost always carries completely wound around her right lower arm. She is usually acompanied by a nameless crow who is nevertheless her most trusted aide, and a group of three not overly fortunate outcasts with whom she forms some kind of a adventurer/criminal band that lives by means of whatever other's property they mange to "acquire". Her circle didn't stand to the initial trials to which it were exposed, and fell apart due to the loss of the Dawn and endless squabblings and fights of the remaining circle members over the course of their action. So now, once again, she wanders the fringes of creation as a fugitive, content with the fact that nearly no one is going to disturb her relatively inconspicuous existence. |
